Four Types of Students and One Type of Good Teacher

When I think back to my fondest moments in the classroom,
my mind instantly flashes to my favorite teachers: my doting and
passionate 5th grade teacher, who artfully taught every student
important life lessons every day; my high school history teacher, who
pushed my thinking and love of learning in so many ways; and, my
dance coach, who never failed to put a smile on my face and to inspire
confidence in a group of young impressionable girls. These faces, these
names, these creative lessons and tidbits of wisdom have left a lasting
impression on my life because of the powerful role teachers play in the
development of children and adolescents.
