Vibrating chairs, high quality animation, and surround sounds
are just a few of the techniques Hollywood has embraced in order to
thin the line between television screens and reality. Although
Hollywood has had much development over the years, there is still one
thing special effects will never be able to do: accurately portray
characters as they appear in real life rather than relying on stereotypes
of characters roles to push forward plot development. As our culture
continues to drift toward diminishing stereotypes, Hollywood typically
follows and appears to be rather progressive; Hollywood has put forth
