Attendance at the weekly worship service was attracting about fifteen-
hundred people, and the Sunday School had sixteen organized classes.
Horace "Bones" McKinney, then assistant basketball coach, was also
assistant to the pastor, and Edgar D. Christman was BSU director.
Thane McDonald was in charge of music, with Paul Robinson at the
organ. Mrs. Dan O. Via was director of education and youth activities.
